Yes! Our bottles, caps and labels are made from a plant-based material that is certified compostable. To be certified compostable, the product must be able to break down in a commercial compost in under 180 days and not contain harmful toxins.
No, our bottles are made from 100% plant based material. This means no harmful toxins or chemicals to leach into the water. No BPA (bisphenol A), no Phthalates and no other nasties are present in our bottles or caps.
No, we a conscious effort to only source corn that is GM free.
Please note that we cannot guarantee 100% that there was no GM crop present when the fields were harvested because of possible cross contamination during wind pollination (known as anemophily).
In commercial facilities it will takes around 180 days, and in a well-managed home compost heap around 12 – 24 months.
Yes, as the bottles are chemical and toxin free, they present a clean burn fuel. The bottles also burn at an intense heat, meaning they are well suited for ‘Waste to Energy’ sites.

No, we don’t use adhesive labels. Our bottles are printed using vegetable ink.
Yes they do. Our bottles and caps have been certified as food compliant in accordance with European Food Contact Regulation (EU) 10/2011. Our bottles have been tested by the Smithers Rapra Group to confirm they are 100% compostable and toxin free. A copy of the reports is available on request.
Occasionally, due to the nature of the plant-based product it can leave a minute residue once the cap is unscrewed. This is perfectly harmless and can just be wiped away.
Our natural spring water is sustainably sourced from the Sandy Drop spring in the Flinders Ranges.
Yes, the bottles are great to refill. They are robust and can be reused multiple times. Please do not put them in a dishwasher, they do not like the intense heat.
